How the Sunshine Legends Tour handles personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us: name, email, phone, organisation and your message.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address and consent.
- Player information needed to run events (registration, entries, results).
- Website usage data (for example pages visited, device and browser type), measured with Google Analytics 4 for every visitor. See our cookie notice.
3. Why we use it
To answer enquiries, run tournaments and publish results, send newsletters you asked for, manage partnerships and improve the website. We rely on your consent, our legitimate interests or contracts with players and partners.
4. Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the Tour (for example, Golf Genius for scoring, Google Analytics for website statistics, email and website hosting), under agreements that protect your information. We do not sell personal information.
5. How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the purpose, or as required by law.
6. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to processing, withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
7. Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies to measure visits, and no advertising cookies. See our cookie notice, which also explains how to opt out.
