Keith Horne

COUNTRY: RSA
D.O.B: 08/06/1971
PRO SINCE: 1996
HOME CLUB: Eye of Africa Golf Estate

The South African started playing as a youngster in Durban in his native South Africa, but was a relative latecomer to the professional ranks at the age of 25.

Joined the army for a year and studied for four years as an Industrial Relations Officer, before working for three years alongside former European Tour champion Hugh Baiocchi at Prince’s Grant Golf Estate.

While there he played alongside and learned from Baiocchi, and decided to turn professional despite fearing he had left it too late.

He played in 233 DP World Tour events across 14 years and came closest to a victory when he was runner-up at the 2010 Joburg Open. Horne has won 13 times Worldwide, including nine on the Sunshine Tour.
