This year marks the fifth time Plettenberg Bay Country Club has staged the championship, cementing its status as one of the true homes of senior golf in South Africa. The field will feature two past champions in Mark McNulty and Kingston, both of whom will be looking to add another chapter to their storied careers on a course they know well.

The layout at PCC is in outstanding condition following recent work to clear alien vegetation and establish new water channels and wetlands, enhancing both the strategic challenge and the natural beauty of the course. Framed by indigenous forest and coastal skies, the Garden Route once again provides the perfect backdrop for a flagship event on the Sunshine Legends Tour calendar.

The championship will tee off with a Pro-Am format over the first two days, giving amateur golfers a rare opportunity to play alongside some of the game’s greatest over-50s before the professionals battle it out for the title in the final round.
